Private equity firm Trinity Hunt Partners has made an investment in Berger Consulting Group, a Los Angeles-based provider of economic consulting and damages analysis services for labor and employment disputes. The firm, founded in 2013, serves over 100 law firm clients with specialized expertise in complex litigation support.

The investment will support Berger's continued growth under its founding partners — Bennett Berger, Sean Berger, and Jarrett Gorlick — who will maintain leadership roles. Gary Buckland has joined as CEO, bringing experience from his tenure leading Lexitas, a litigation support platform previously acquired by Trinity Hunt in 2014.

Trinity Hunt's principals see significant opportunity in building out Berger's economic consulting and dispute advisory capabilities. The firm plans to leverage its experience in legal services platforms to drive growth while maintaining focus on work quality and company culture. Legal advisors included Kirkland & Ellis LLP for Trinity Hunt and Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP for Berger.
