Stryten Energy, backed by Atlas Holdings, has announced a definitive agreement to acquire C&D Technologies and Trojan Battery, creating a scaled platform for global battery manufacturing. The combined organization will offer one of the industry’s most comprehensive portfolios of lead and lithium‑based energy storage technologies.

Following the deal, Stryten will operate 15 battery manufacturing and component facilities across the U.S., supported by 3,700 employees. The acquisition expands Stryten’s footprint and strengthens its position in critical markets, enabling the delivery of advanced energy storage solutions.

C&D Technologies, backed by KPS, brings established expertise in lead‑acid battery production, while Trojan Battery adds a leading position in high‑performance lead‑acid and lithium‑ion products. Together, the entities will leverage complementary technologies and supply chains to accelerate innovation.

The transaction underscores the growing demand for reliable, scalable energy storage as utilities and businesses shift toward electrification and renewable integration. Stryten’s expanded capabilities position it to capture market share in both residential and commercial sectors.
