SAP has agreed to acquire Reltio, a Silicon Valley-based master data management software provider backed by NewView Capital. The German enterprise software giant announced the deal without disclosing financial terms. Reltio, founded in 2011, specializes in helping businesses organize and leverage their data assets.

Reltio founder and CEO Manish Sood called the acquisition a "tremendous opportunity" to accelerate the company's mission. The deal comes as SAP seeks to strengthen its position in the rapidly evolving enterprise AI market. By integrating Reltio's technology, SAP aims to provide customers with more comprehensive data management capabilities.

The transaction is expected to close in the second or third quarter of 2026. This acquisition represents SAP's latest move to expand its enterprise software portfolio and compete more effectively against rivals like Oracle and Microsoft. The deal underscores the growing importance of data management in the AI era.
