RMH Systems, a Waukee, Iowa‑based provider of automation and industrial scale solutions, has purchased Top Shelf, a Columbus, Ohio material‑handling integrator. The deal marks RMH's second add‑on acquisition since Rotunda Capital Partners took a controlling stake in February 2025. Financial terms were not disclosed, but the transaction expands RMH's footprint in the Midwest and adds a specialized integration capability to its portfolio.

Founder Tim Neroni will stay on to run Top Shelf's Ohio operations, ensuring continuity for existing customers and preserving the firm's regional expertise. The acquisition aligns with RMH's strategy of building a vertically integrated offering that combines turnkey automation with end‑to‑end handling services.

Investors should view the move as a signal that RMH, backed by Rotunda, is accelerating consolidation in the fragmented material‑handling market. By adding Top Shelf, RMH can cross‑sell its packaging and scale solutions to a broader client base, potentially improving margin leverage and positioning the company for further roll‑ups or a future exit.
