ATG Entertainment, a UK-headquartered live entertainment company operating 70 venues across the UK, US, Germany, and Spain, has been sold by Providence Equity Partners to Mari. The transaction includes iconic venues featuring productions like 'The Lion King' and 'Wicked'. Providence acquired ATG in 2013 and executed strategic add-on acquisitions to expand internationally.

Meanwhile, private equity interest continues to grow in European solar energy, with recent deals including KKR's agreement with Total Energies for a 50 percent stake in a 1.2GW onshore solar and wind portfolio valued at €1.8 billion. Cap Vest Partners completed acquisition of TSG Solutions, a European energy infrastructure provider, valued at around €1.75 billion.

Blackstone Infrastructure invested up to €2 billion in Eurowind Energy, a pan-European renewables developer operating across sixteen markets. Providence has demonstrated strong exit performance, achieving close to 7x enterprise value increases across its last 10 exits while generating an average 24 percent of NAV per year in distributions since early 2024.
