Gen Nx360’s platform NVI has completed an add‑on acquisition of Barracuda Specialty Services, a Gulf Coast inspection and rope access provider. The deal is NVI’s first since Gen Nx360 invested in February 2026.

Barracuda, headquartered in Houma, Louisiana and operating in Gonzales, Louisiana and Humble and Midland, Texas, offers magnetic particle testing, liquid penetrant examination, radiography, phased array ultrasonic testing, and rope access to petrochemical, midstream and industrial manufacturing clients. NVI, based in Gray, Louisiana, delivers testing, inspection, integrity and program management services across energy infrastructure, data centers, industrial manufacturing, power generation and marine sectors.

No financial terms were disclosed. Gen Nx360’s deal team—partner Pratik Rajeevan, managing partner Monty Yort, operating vice president Amit Phatak and associate Jon Langenfeld—highlighted that the addition expands NVI’s scale and rope‑access depth across the Gulf Coast.

The acquisition strengthens NVI’s position in the Gulf Coast market, adding depth to its core inspection capabilities and positioning it for continued growth in the region.
