Monomoy Capital Partners is reportedly in the advanced stages of selling Cast-Crete, a manufacturer of pre-cast concrete window sills and lintels. Jefferies initiated a sale process for the Seffner, Florida-based company in late spring. Cast-Crete, with an estimated EBITDA of $60 million, is expected to attract manufacturing-focused private equity firms or strategic buyers.

Building products companies have recently commanded a median 14x EV/EBITDA multiple, suggesting Cast-Crete could be valued at up to $850 million. The company holds a dominant market share in the Southeast for concrete sills and lintels, and its products are crucial for load-bearing support in residential construction, particularly in hurricane-prone areas.

Founded in 1955, Cast-Crete is the largest U.S. producer in its niche and has been owned by three private equity firms since 2014, including Stonebridge Partners and Washington Partners. Monomoy Capital declined to comment, and Jefferies did not respond to requests for comment.
