Coalesce Capital has made a strategic investment in Workstreet, a cybersecurity and compliance services provider for regulated industries. Workstreet combines domain expertise with AI to help companies build scalable security and compliance programs. Stephanie Geveda, founder and managing partner at Coalesce, noted that Workstreet addresses the growing need for guidance beyond audit certifications and software tools.

In other news, Monomoy Capital Partners is reportedly in advanced sale discussions for its portfolio company, Cast-Crete, a concrete manufacturer. Jefferies is managing the sale process for the Florida-based company, which specializes in pre-cast concrete products for residential builders. Cast-Crete, with an estimated $60 million EBITDA, could command a valuation of around $850 million based on industry multiples.

Additionally, Francisco Partners announced the closing of $21 billion in capital commitments across its latest funds. Blackstone also reported increased Q2 earnings, partly driven by its AI investments. The PE Hub Wire noted that 162 companies have entered the market this year, a significant increase from the previous year, though deal announcements remain steady.
