MidEuropa has agreed to acquire a construction software and data platform in the Czech Republic from DEK Group, a deal slated to close in the second half of 2026. The platform, which unites ÚRS, First information systems, and Callida, is widely used by contractors, developers, cost estimators and public authorities across Czech Republic and Slovakia.

The software covers the full project lifecycle—from cost estimation and budgeting to project management and digital construction diaries—while its cost database has become the industry standard for construction pricing and specifications in the region. As construction digitises, demand for efficiency‑boosting tools is rising, and the adoption of AI is expected to heighten the value of trusted local data and embedded workflows.

MidEuropa plans to fund the platform’s next growth phase through continuous investment in product innovation, AI‑enabled capabilities, and selective acquisitions. The company sees the platform’s market‑leading position and proprietary data assets as creating high barriers to entry, especially as AI adoption accelerates.

"Construction remains one of the largest industries undergoing digital transformation," said Marek Rodak, partner at MidEuropa. "We were attracted by the platform’s market‑leading position and unique proprietary data assets," added Zbigniew Rekusz, head of MidEuropa’s Warsaw office. MidEuropa has managed over €6.8 billion in funds, completed 50 investments and more than 290 add‑on acquisitions across 20 countries in its 25‑year track record.
