Montreal-based Logistec has acquired Travero's Logistics Park Dubuque, a multi-purpose marine terminal on the Upper Mississippi River in East Dubuque, Illinois. The deal, backed by Blue Wolf Capital Partners, expands Logistec's inland waterways network and strengthens its position in agricultural and energy supply chains across the US Midwest.

The terminal's strategic location provides routing options connecting the Midwest to the Gulf Coast, enhancing Logistec's logistics capabilities. This acquisition follows Logistec's recent agreement to acquire IPA Terminal in Altamira, Mexico, demonstrating the company's aggressive expansion strategy in North American logistics.

Logistec, which Blue Wolf took private in January 2024 for approximately C$1.2 billion, continues to consolidate its presence in marine terminal and logistics services. The acquisition of Dubuque's terminal adds to Logistec's portfolio of inland waterway assets, positioning the company to capitalize on growing demand for efficient supply chain solutions in agricultural and manufacturing sectors.
