Icelandirect, a New Heritage Capital-backed contract manufacturer of human and pet supplements, has acquired Soma Labs, a New Jersey-based supplement manufacturer. The deal expands Icelandirect's production capabilities beyond its core expertise in lipid and softgel supplements. Brandon Miller, CEO of Icelandirect, said the acquisition allows the company to offer powder, tablet, capsule, and chewable formats.

Soma Labs, established in 1998, specializes in solid dosage form production and will operate as an integrated division of Icelandirect. The New Jersey facility will remain fully operational, maintaining its existing workforce and production capacity. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

This strategic move positions Icelandirect as a more comprehensive supplement manufacturer, capable of delivering turnkey products from ingredient sourcing through finished packaging. The expanded capabilities allow the company to serve clients seeking multiple product formats at greater scale while maintaining the quality standards that have defined the Icelandirect brand.
