I Squared Capital has reached an agreement to acquire Milestone Environmental, a Houston-based company specializing in environmental infrastructure for the oil and gas industry. Milestone operates 15 permitted disposal facilities across active U.S. energy basins, handling waste from drilling, completion, and production.

The transaction's financial terms remain undisclosed, and the deal is anticipated to close in the fourth quarter of 2026. Milestone, founded in 2014, is currently owned by SK Capital Partners.

This acquisition signifies I Squared Capital's interest in the waste management sector within the energy industry. The strategic location of Milestone's facilities across key U.S. basins suggests potential for expanded service offerings and operational efficiencies.
