Mike Arpey has been promoted to vice chairman at Hunter Point Capital, a move designed to free up time for the firm's limited partners and general partners. William Sonneborn has been appointed as the new president and chief operating officer. Sonneborn brings over three decades of experience in alternative investments and financial services, having previously held leadership roles at KKR, TCW Group, and Goldman Sachs.

Earlier in his career, he served as president and chief operating officer of TCW Group. In his new role, Sonneborn will work closely with HPC's senior leadership team to advance the firm's strategic and operational priorities. HPC has surpassed $10 billion in assets under management.

Sonneborn is described as a proven leader whose deep operating background will be invaluable as the firm continues to scale. Arpey's promotion allows him to spend more time with HPC's limited partners and continue supporting the GP partners.
