UK-based satellite startup Open Cosmos has raised €300m in fresh funding amid ongoing investor appetite to back technologies that boost Europe’s sovereign space capabilities. The round was led by prominent European venture capital firms and strategic investors focused on advancing the continent’s independent access to space infrastructure. Funding will support the scaling of Open Cosmos’ satellite manufacturing and mission services, enabling faster deployment of Earth observation and communications constellations.
