Gemspring Capital has expanded its investment in Sitemetric, a Houston-based construction site security and workforce technology provider. The private equity firm is backing the company's growth as it scales to meet rising demand for construction site management solutions. No financial terms were disclosed for the follow-on investment.

Sitemetric, founded in 2018, provides construction companies with security, access control, and workforce management technology. The additional capital will fuel product innovation, geographic expansion, and enhanced service capabilities. The company's platform helps construction sites improve safety, efficiency, and compliance across multiple job sites.

Alongside the investment, Sitemetric appointed Rich Riley as CEO. Riley brings extensive technology leadership experience, having previously served as CEO of Shazam Entertainment before its acquisition by Apple Inc. He also held senior roles at Yahoo! and most recently co-led Origin Materials. The company was founded by Brian and Patrick, who have built what Gemspring calls a "category-defining" platform with strong execution and service reputation.
