Frazier Healthcare Partners has appointed Stephen Krupa as an executive in residence on its growth buyout team. The Seattle-based private equity firm, founded in 1991, continues building its healthcare investment capabilities with this strategic hire.

Krupa brings extensive healthcare experience to the role. He previously served as CEO of HealthEdge from 2016 to 2025, leading the healthcare technology company through nearly a decade of growth. Before that, Krupa spent nearly twenty years as a healthcare venture capital partner at Psilos Group, establishing deep relationships across the sector.

His early career included work at Wasserstein Perella & Co., where he advised on strategic healthcare acquisitions. This background gives Krupa firsthand knowledge of both investment dynamics and operational leadership in healthcare services and technology companies.

The appointment signals Frazier's focus on leveraging experienced operators for its buyout strategy. Having an executive-in-residence with CEO experience and venture capital background strengthens the firm's ability to evaluate and support portfolio companies in the healthcare space.
