Corilus has acquired Sofia Développement, a Paris-based provider of practice management software for healthcare professionals. The deal combines two companies backed by private equity firms, with PSG Equity and Rivean Capital maintaining joint majority control of the expanded group. Sofia's software serves over 38,000 nurses, physiotherapists and speech therapists across France. IK Investment Partners originally invested in Sofia in March 2022.

Meanwhile, PSG and Rivean acquired Corilus in 2024 as part of their strategy building healthcare technology platforms. The acquisition strengthens Corilus's position in the European healthcare IT market. Consolidation has accelerated among software providers serving medical professionals, driven by demand for integrated digital solutions.

Both companies offer cloud-based platforms that streamline administrative tasks for healthcare providers. Financial terms weren't disclosed. The move signals continued private equity interest in scaling healthcare technology businesses through add-on acquisitions.
