Smith brings extensive experience from his previous role as CEO of BECO Holding Company, Inc., where he worked closely with Behrman during the 1998 acquisition of Brooks Equipment Company.

Smith's career includes a decade at PricewaterhouseCoopers and service as president of the Fire Equipment Manufacturer's Association. His deep operational expertise and understanding of Behrman's investment strategy were highlighted by Grant G. Behrman, managing partner, who described Smith as an exceptional executive whose background will benefit both the firm and its portfolio companies.
