Baird Capital Backs AutoLoto in Safety Tech Deal

Baird Capital has made a majority investment in AutoLoto, a Coeur d'Alene-based software and services company that specializes in automating lockout/tagout safety procedures. The investment will help the company expand its suite of automated worker safety solutions for the built environment.

AutoLoto was founded in 2019 and helps organizations manage safety procedures through its software platform. Rebecca Schlagenhauf, a partner at Baird Capital, said the firm is "delighted to partner with the talented, veteran-led team at AutoLoto to advance their mission of eliminating LOTO-related safety incidents." The company's CEO is Daniel Furbush.

No financial terms were disclosed for the transaction. Baird Capital was advised by William Blair and DLA Piper, while AutoLoto was advised by Citizens and Brown Winnick. The investment represents Baird's continued focus on industrial technology and safety solutions.
