Littlejohn & Co portfolio company Ardurra Group has acquired Enprotec/Hibbs & Todd (eHT), a Texas-based engineering consulting firm specializing in water and wastewater services. Founded in 1989, eHT is headquartered in Abilene, Texas, and serves public-sector and utility clients from offices in Abilene, Granbury and Lubbock. The firm will continue to operate from those three locations.
The deal expands Ardurra’s presence in Texas and its ability to support investment in water supply, treatment, transmission, wastewater and related infrastructure. The companies said demand for water infrastructure investment continues to grow, driven by population growth, economic development and long-term water supply challenges. Miami-headquartered Ardurra provides engineering, consulting and design services across end markets including water, transportation, aviation and public works in the US.
The firm is ranked 48th on Engineering News-Record’s Top 500 Design Firms list and now has about 2,700 employees across more than 120 offices nationwide. Littlejohn is a Greenwich, Connecticut-based investment firm focused on private equity and debt investments in growing middle-market companies, with about $8.7 billion in regulatory assets under management. Morrissey Goodale advised eHT.
