Private equity firm Ambienta has made 23 appointments over the past year, including three partners in Milan and London. The new hires reflect changes to how the firm covers its markets, and Ambienta now has more than 120 employees. The additions add sector expertise, scale its portfolio operations function and deepen local coverage in its core European markets.
Jérôme Losson joined as partner and head of portfolio operations in Milan, leading the function across all of Ambienta's strategies. He has more than 30 years of experience across consulting, direct management and private equity, and was instrumental in setting up KKR Capstone in Europe, serving on its leadership team for close to a decade. Losson will also lead the firm's own technology and AI enablement. Dina Dede joined the portfolio operations team in London as director of AI and data, having previously led AI initiatives within the Microsoft-LSEG strategic partnership at Microsoft.
The London private equity team added two partners. Karthik Achar joined from Stellex Capital Management, where he was a founding partner and set up the firm's European office in 2014, bringing more than two decades of industrial investing experience. Richa Sirohi joined from CPP Investments, where she was a managing director leading European technology investments, and will lead Ambienta's digital technologies investing across the European mid-market.
Additional hires include Adam Aziz, who joined the investor relations team in London as principal, and several principals and investment professionals in Milan, Paris and Munich. Founder and managing partner Nino Tronchetti Provera said every appointment has been guided by the strategy to enhance the coverage, sector expertise and operational capabilities the platform needs for its next stage of growth.
