Huron Capital's portfolio company Albireo Energy has completed the acquisition of the Oklahoma and Mississippi/Louisiana divisions of Powers, a family-owned building automation systems provider headquartered in central Arkansas. The deal excludes Powers' Arkansas operations, which the company retains.

Powers of Oklahoma and Powers of Mississippi/Louisiana serve commercial, industrial, healthcare, and other mission-critical facilities. The acquisition extends Albireo Energy's footprint into Southern markets, where rising data center and manufacturing activity has increased demand for building automation services.

Troy Abell, who previously worked at Siemens Building Technologies, will lead the Powers branches across the three-state territory as vice president and general manager. He joins a leadership team that includes Joey Necaise, John Agnelly, and Blain Graham.

Albireo Energy provides building controls and energy services to data centers, offices, hospitals, universities, and manufacturing facilities. The acquisition adds Powers' regional customer relationships and building automation expertise across Oklahoma, Mississippi, and Louisiana.
