Agallas Equities is planning a $5bn Caribbean-focused inaugural infrastructure fund targeting major projects in the Dominican Republic and surrounding region, having already garnered early interest from Gulf state family offices. APG's longstanding APAC infrastructure head Hans-Martin Aerts has exited after 25 years at the €639bn Dutch pension asset manager, a month after its global infrastructure chief also departed.

Healthcare Deals

Regal Healthcare Capital Partners closed its fourth fund at $610M, above target, underscoring continued LP appetite for healthcare-focused private equity strategies. Altaris has agreed to acquire Clarivate's Life Sciences & Healthcare business, a deal that will reshape the data and analytics provider's portfolio.
