European AI Startups Secure Funding Amid Defense Tech Push

Nest AI, a European artificial intelligence startup, is aiming to reduce the continent's dependence on foreign models for defense applications. Meanwhile, Promptwatch, a competitor in the PEEC (Private Equity and Venture space, has secured €6m in seed funding. In a separate development, defence tech firm Project Q announced its €15m Series A round, just eleven months after its previous fundraising. Nous Research, a maker of Hermes agents, is reportedly in talks for new funding at a $1.5 billion valuation, seeking at least $75 million led by Robot Ventures is in talks.
