Rams Nacua Questionable MNF Giants Game

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua will not practice for the second day in a row due to groin soreness and is listed as questionable for Monday night's game against the New York Giants. Coach Sean McVay stated the team is "being smart with him as a skill player," adding that whether Nacua plays depends on how he feels. His injury is separate from the psoas issue that sidelined him during training camp. Nacua previously practiced Thursday but did not feel at full speed.

New York Giants cornerback Deonte Banks is also questionable after sitting out Saturday practice with a calf injury. With Paulson Adebo already on injured reserve, rookie Colton Hood is likely to start opposite Greg Newsome, a tough matchup for Hood against Nacua and Davante Adams. Meanwhile, Rams wide receiver Jordan Whittington is doubtful with a quad injury.

Despite the injury concerns, the Rams expect Aaron Donald to play Monday night, his first game since retiring two seasons ago. McVay confirmed Donald will play if he says he will, stating, "Whatever Aaron says, I support him."
