Judge stated he is continuing to throw and participate in as many workouts as possible to stay ready if he can return.

Judge was removed from Wednesday's game at Minnesota in the sixth inning due to leg discomfort. Though initially considered precautionary, manager Aaron Boone said symptoms persisted and an MRI confirmed the strain. Judge was 4-for-23 with 13 strikeouts and one extra-base hit in seven games since returning last week from a broken rib that sidelined him for over three months. He has played just 66 games this season.

Judge previously dealt with strains but noted this one is in a different location, making it more difficult. Despite the setback, he remains focused on the team's ultimate goal. The Yankees hold a 48-39 record in games Judge has missed and a 41-25 mark in games he has appeared in this season.
