Stone Point-backed Alliant picked up Laconia-based Melcher & Prescott, a commercial insurance broker founded in 1862. In the industrial space, Long Water took a majority stake in Blastco, a Channelview, Texas surface preparation provider founded in 1983, as part of a plan to build a national coatings platform.
In Europe, Adelis agreed to sell Danish managed IT provider net IP to Synova, a business serving Danish SMEs with more than 270 employees. Sopris Capital also completed the carve-out of Edinburgh AI firm Blackford from Bayer, whose orchestration platform gives radiology departments access to more advanced tools.
Exits & Portfolio Sales
Gallant Capital's Duncan Solutions completed the sale of Pioneer Credit Recovery, one of four businesses carved out of Navient's governance. Trilantic North America also benefited from a radiopharma boom that supported its $945m SOFIE Biosciences exit, even as Apollo, Kohlberg and Montagu pursue surgical equipment providers.
