Iliman Ndiaye has completed a £65m move from Everton to Manchester City, signing a five-year contract at the Etihad Stadium. The 26-year-old Senegal winger, who rose from the seventh tier to the Premier League, called the opportunity the "chance of a lifetime". Ndiaye's deal includes £60m upfront plus £5m in add-ons, coming on the same day City paid a joint British record £125m for Enzo Fernandez.

Ndiaye's journey began with a trial at Sheffield United as a 19-year-old, followed by loans and gradual progression through the leagues. After establishing himself in the Premier League with Boro and scoring 14 goals in 43 Championship games, he moved to Marseille before joining Everton for £16m last summer. At Everton, he scored 15 goals and provided four assists in 67 games.

Despite City's spending spree this summer, Ndiaye's underlying numbers remain modest - ranking joint-third in goal contributions (nine) and fourth in chance creation (36) for Everton last season. His move follows a complex transfer saga involving Tottenham and Al-Hilal, with Richarlison's failed personal terms blocking a potential swap deal.
