X, formerly Twitter, is rolling out custom timelines that let Premium subscribers pin specific topics to their home feed. The feature appears as an Add+ button next to the Following tab, giving paying users access to over 75 topic categories ranging from design and robotics to real estate.

The company says Grok AI powers the personalization, tuning each timeline based on a user's existing engagement patterns. X claims the AI filters work even better for topics users already interact with, making the experience more relevant over time.

Early access is currently exclusive to Premium subscribers on iOS, with Android support promised "soon." The company also introduced a separate tool letting users snooze topics like politics or sports from their For You tab.

This represents X's latest push to differentiate its paid tier, using AI features to justify the subscription cost while competing with other platforms for user attention in specific interest areas.
