Level's latest smart lock, the Level Lock Pro, offers a rare combination of Apple Home integration with a discreet deadbolt design. Unlike most smart locks that look distinctly technological, this $349 device maintains a traditional appearance while supporting Matter connectivity. The Pro model adds door status monitoring and comes in satin nickel or matte black finishes that blend with standard doorknobs.

The Level Lock Pro provides multiple access methods: physical key, NFC fobs, phone or watch tap via Apple Home Key, and Siri voice commands. Integration with HomeKit enables remote control and automation through the Home app. Battery life lasts approximately one year with the CR2 Lithium battery housed within the deadbolt itself. For remote access, users need a HomePod or Apple TV as a Matter controller.

Installation can present challenges due to the lock's wide circular bolt design, which may require adjustment to fit properly in existing door frames. However, the device offers exceptional security with an ANSI Grade 1 bump- and pick-resistant cylinder—uncommon in smart locks. The optional keypad add-on and temporary entry codes through the Level app provide flexibility for various access needs.
