Apple's new OLED-equipped iPad mini supports fast charging, but the included 20W adapter is insufficient. Specifications indicate the device can reach 50% charge in approximately 30 minutes when paired with a USB-C power adapter capable of 35W or higher. These adapters are sold separately for $59.
The tablet features an 18.9-watt-hour battery rated for up to 10 hours of web browsing or video. The Wi-Fi model starts at $699, with pre-orders opening Wednesday, October 28, ahead of availability on Friday, November 6.
