Beats x Nike Powerbeats Pro 2 Debuts in Volt Palette

Apple’s Beats brand has teamed with Nike to launch a special‑edition Powerbeats Pro 2. The new model adopts Nike’s “Volt” palette, pairing matte black with Volt‑speckled accents. Inside the charging case, the “Just Do It” slogan appears, while the earbuds display a Swoosh on the right and the Beats “b” on the left. This marks the first hardware collaboration between the two companies.

Beyond its look, the earbuds keep the same core features introduced last year: wrap‑around earhooks for stability, active noise cancelling with transparency mode, built‑in heart‑rate monitoring, and up to 45 hours of battery life when recharged via the case. The special edition will retail at $249.99 in the U.S. and launch Friday, March 20 at 9 a.m. PT, available through Nike.com and select Apple stores worldwide.

The launch is backed by a new ad campaign featuring NBA star LeBron James and golfer Tom Kim, underscoring the partnership’s focus on performance and culture. Beats CMO Chris Thorne said the Swoosh on the hardware honors shared DNA between the brands and celebrates ambassadors who embody grit, style, and sound. Consumers can now pair Nike’s athletic heritage with Beats’ audio expertise.
