Apple has released the second developer betas of watchOS 26.4, tvOS 26.4, and visionOS 26.4, continuing its pre-release testing cycle. The updates arrive one week after the initial betas and are available through the Settings app on each device, though a free developer account is required.

watchOS 26.4 introduces an Average Bedtime metric that syncs with the Health app, allowing users to track how bedtime patterns affect overall sleep quality. tvOS 26.4 removes the iTunes Movies and iTunes TV Shows apps from Apple TV hardware, apps that haven't functioned properly for some time and have been redirecting users to the Apple TV app for purchases. The update also adds a Continuous Audio Connection option for HDMI output.

visionOS 26.4 brings support for foveated streaming in apps and games, a feature that streams video to the precise area where a user is looking while compressing peripheral areas. This technology enables higher visual quality and lower latency for Apple Vision Pro users. The foveated streaming capability represents a significant enhancement for immersive experiences, optimizing both performance and visual fidelity.
