Apple today provided developers with the third betas of watchOS 26.4, tvOS 26.4, and visionOS 26.4 for testing purposes. The software updates arrive a week after the second betas were released. These developer betas are available through the Settings app on each device, requiring a free developer account to access.

watchOS 26.4 introduces a new Average Bedtime metric that syncs to the Health app, allowing users to better understand how bedtime routines impact overall sleep quality. tvOS 26.4 finally eliminates the iTunes Movies and iTunes TV Shows apps from the Apple TV, which haven't functioned properly for some time and have been redirecting users to the Apple TV app for purchases. The update also adds a Continuous Audio Connection option for HDMI output.

visionOS 26.4 brings foveated streaming support for apps and games, enabling video to stream precisely where users are looking while compressing peripheral areas. This technology delivers higher visual quality and lower latency for spatial computing experiences. These incremental updates continue Apple's march toward stable releases of its operating systems, with each beta bringing targeted improvements before public availability.
