The key differentiator for this pricier model is a tiny infrared camera, enabling hand gesture controls and enhanced spatial audio with the Vision Pro headset. Supply chain sources also suggest Apple may replace pressure sensors with all-in gesture controls. An upgraded H3 chip is in development, though the AirPods Pro 3 still uses the H2 from its predecessor.
