Xiaomi has scheduled its major product launch for May 21 in China, where the company will unveil the Xiaomi 17 Max flagship smartphone alongside the YU7 GT electric SUV and several new accessories. The event marks Xiaomi's continued expansion beyond smartphones into electric vehicles and broader smart home ecosystems.

The Xiaomi 17 Max features a substantial 6.9-inch flat AMOLED display with slim bezels, powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. The device packs an impressive 8,000mAh battery and sports a 200MP primary camera system. Consumers can choose from White, Clear Blue, and Pixel Black color options when the phone launches.

Alongside the smartphone, Xiaomi will introduce the Smart Band 10 Pro with enhanced health tracking sensors, NFC capability for contactless payments, and improved integration with both Xiaomi Auto and Apple devices. The company's first open-ear clip-on earphones feature 11mm drivers and support LHDC 5.0 audio with Hi-Res Gold certification.
