WhatsApp is reportedly addressing chat list clutter caused by messages from large businesses, such as banks or airlines. According to a new report, the platform is testing a solution to move these threads into a dedicated "Offers & Updates" folder.

Messages from large businesses will automatically move into this folder after a set number of hours have passed since they were received. WhatsApp is currently testing different durations for this feature, potentially up to 24 hours.

Users can disable the feature in the app's settings if they dislike the idea. However, you won't be able to set a custom duration; you must accept the duration chosen by Meta or disable it. Currently, small businesses and personal accounts are exempt, though WhatsApp may explore moving small business messages into the same folder in the future.
