Nothing has expanded the open beta of Nothing OS 5.0, based on Android 17, to three more devices. The rollout now includes the Nothing Phone (4a), Nothing Phone (3a), and Nothing Phone (3a) Pro, following the initial launch for the Nothing Phone (3) in late August and the Nothing Phone (4a) Pro earlier this month. The beta is delivered via the Nothing Beta Hub app, where users can register to receive the over-the-air update.

Nothing has also confirmed the upcoming beta schedule. The Nothing Phone (2a) and (2a) Plus are next in line for the open beta in mid-October, followed by the Phone (4b) in mid-December. The full stable release of Nothing OS 5.0 will begin in mid-October for the Nothing Phone (3), with other models following through mid-January.
