Chinese smartphone maker vivo is set to launch its next foldable, the X Fold6, before the month ends, according to tipster Digital Chat Station. The device follows the X Fold5, which debuted earlier this year, and aims to keep the series’ distinctive hinge and large circular rear camera module. A June rollout would tighten the brand’s annual foldable cadence.

Under the hood, the X Fold6 will run MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 SoC, delivering a step up in performance and efficiency over the previous model’s chipset. Rumors suggest a 200MP primary sensor paired with a 50MP periscope telephoto lens, while the display is expected to feature softer, more rounded corners. A 7,000mAh battery should sustain the power‑hungry foldable form.

If the specs hold, the X Fold6 could pressure rivals like Samsung and Huawei to push higher‑resolution sensors and larger batteries into their own foldables. Consumers gain a device that blends flagship photography with a more ergonomic design, but the high‑end components will likely keep the price in the premium tier. The June debut will test vivo’s ability to capture market share in China’s fast‑moving foldable segment.
