vivo is preparing to launch its X Fold6 foldable smartphone within the next two months, likely following its typical June release cycle. New leaks suggest a significant hardware change from previous expectations, with the device reportedly switching from the anticipated Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 to the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset. This represents a strategic shift in vivo's flagship foldable lineup.

The foldable will feature dual displays: an 8.02-inch 2K UTG inner screen and a 6.51-inch cover display. Camera setup includes a 200MP primary sensor paired with 50MP periscope telephoto and ultrawide units, plus 20MP selfie cameras on both panels. Battery capacity reaches 7,000mAh with wireless charging support, promising extended usage between charges.

Similar to its predecessor, the X Fold6 maintains comparable screen sizes while adding full water resistance. These specifications position vivo's latest foldable to compete directly with Samsung's Galaxy Z series and other premium foldables in the increasingly competitive market. The device appears poised to challenge existing leaders in the premium foldable segment.
