Trump T1 Phone Finally Shipping After Months of Delays

Trump Mobile CEO Pat O'Brien confirmed the T1 Phone will ship to pre-order customers later this week, ending months of delays. The device was initially announced in June with promises of an August launch, but missed multiple deadlines before settling on this vague timeframe.

At $499, the T1 Phone enters a competitive market despite sharing key hardware with the nearly two-year-old HTC U24 Pro. O'Brien called the delays worth it for delivering an amazing product, though he didn't explain what caused the setbacks or disclose the phone's chipset. The device also won't be manufactured in America as originally claimed.

Customers who pre-ordered can expect their phones within the next several weeks. While the T1 Phone's specifications remain unclear, it does include welcome accessories: a charging brick, braided USB-C cable, and clear silicone case—features many modern flagships no longer bundle.

The phone's delayed arrival raises questions about Trump Mobile's execution capabilities in the crowded smartphone market, especially when competing against established brands with proven supply chains.
