Trump Mobile finally confirmed that its long‑awaited T1 Android handset will leave the warehouse this week, ending months of speculation that the device was vaporware. The company posted a fresh render on X, noting that pre‑order customers will receive an email update as the phones begin shipping. Despite earlier claims of U.S. assembly, the T1 appears to be a rebadged Chinese model.

The T1 is widely identified as the 2024 HTC U24 Pro, a mid‑range phone that launched with Android 14 and received modest reviews for its battery life but lagging camera performance. Trump Mobile lists the handset at $599, positioning it against the upcoming iPhone 17e. Early depositors who paid a $100 reservation fee may see the price drop to $399 once shipments arrive.

The device ships with a bundled “47 Plan” costing $47.45 per month, offering unlimited U.S. calls and texts, 20 GB of high‑speed data and 480p video streaming, but no hotspot capability. Competitors such as T‑Mobile’s Essentials Saver provide comparable data for $50 with broader international calling and hotspot support. At $599, the T1 struggles to justify its price against better‑speced Android and iPhone alternatives.
