Tecno is preparing a new addition to its Slim lineup with the Tecno Camon Slim, recently certified by the EEC. The certification confirms 5G support and reveals the model number CN6. A device with this model number has appeared on Geekbench, scoring 997 in single-core and 2,950 in multi-core tests.

These benchmark results point to the MediaTek Dimensity 7100 chipset paired with 8GB of RAM in the prototype. The device will ship with Android 16 at launch. While these specs suggest it won't be a flagship, the Camon Slim likely positions itself slightly above Tecno's previous Slim models like the Spark Slim and Pova Slim from September 2025.

The certification and benchmark leak give us our first concrete look at Tecno's upcoming mid-range 5G offering. The Dimensity 7100 provides solid performance for everyday tasks and gaming, while the slim design maintains Tecno's focus on sleek form factors. More details should emerge as the launch approaches.
