Samsung's Galaxy S26 series battery capacities have been officially confirmed through EU Energy Labels ahead of the February 25 launch. The Galaxy S26 is the only model getting a battery upgrade, moving from 4,000 mAh to a rated 4,175 mAh (advertised as 4,300 mAh). The Galaxy S26+ and S26 Ultra retain similar capacities to their predecessors.

The Galaxy S26+ features a 4,755 mAh rated battery (4,900 mAh advertised), while the S26 Ultra comes with a 4,855 mAh rated battery (5,000 mAh advertised). All three models promise to retain 80% capacity after 1,200 full charging cycles. The devices also carry IP68 ratings for water and dust resistance, plus A ratings for drop resistance and C ratings for repairability.

These battery specifications have sparked criticism from potential buyers, with some calling the capacities insufficient for 2026 flagships. The vanilla S26's battery increase appears to be Samsung's only significant hardware upgrade for the series. The company is expected to focus on AI features and software improvements rather than major battery enhancements across the lineup.
