Choi stated Samsung is working on advanced S Pen technology to reduce the penalty of using it with foldable displays, emphasizing that the S Pen remains a core technology. This follows the S Pen's removal of Bluetooth functionality in the Galaxy S25 Ultra, which had fueled rumors of its impending demise.

Samsung has yet to announce plans for successors to the Galaxy S25 Edge or Galaxy Z TriFold, but didn't rule out a wider version of the Galaxy Z Fold, which was recently spotted in One UI 9 animations. Choi's comments provide concrete reassurance to consumers who rely on the S Pen for productivity on Galaxy devices, particularly tablets where the S Pen remains a key differentiator.
