Samsung has pushed the second One UI 8.5 beta to its flagship Galaxy S23, S23+, and S23 Ultra, as well as the foldable Z Flip5 and mid‑range A36 and A35. The update arrives in India and South Korea with firmware ending in ZZDP and carries the April 2026 security patch. Base S23 starts at €292, Ultra tops €430.

Changes focus on call handling and camera stability: incoming‑screen glitches during calls are fixed, proximity sensor release errors are resolved, and green line artifacts in 4K HDR video recording disappear on select apps. Bluetooth crashes and multi‑touch issues after enabling accessibility also see improvements. These tweaks aim to smooth daily workflows for power users.

Flip5’s build—firmware F731NKSU6ZZDN—adds louder speaker volume while driving, shows contact photos on incoming calls, and patches screen‑switching glitches after saving contacts. A36 and A35 receive Bluetooth autoscan fixes, quicker quick‑panel collapse, and UI hangs after FOTA, each bundled with the same April 2026 patch. Shows Samsung’s push toward a smoother final One UI 9. Beta participants can trigger the rollout via Settings > Software update.
