Samsung has pushed the third beta of One UI 9 to its Galaxy S26 lineup, adding a 1.7 GB download for the S26, S26+ and S26 Ultra. The rollout starts in India, South Korea, Poland and the UK, with Korean devices receiving firmware S948NKSU3ZZF7 and other markets getting S94xBXXU3ZZF7. Raises the security patch to Android 17. Early adopters can trigger the update via Settings → Software update.

The beta addresses a slew of glitches that plagued the first two releases. Fixes include a corrected privacy‑display routine, restored camera preview framing, reliable lock‑screen widget updates, and sharper focus at 30× zoom. It also resolves home‑screen swipe issues with the S Pen, My Files scrolling bugs, and occasional reboot during video streams. These tweaks also improve battery monitoring on 5G/LTE switches.

For users not yet seeing the package, manual polling in Settings will surface the update once the server flags their region. By polishing stability before the final One UI 9 launch, Samsung hopes to avoid post‑release fallout that has marred previous Android rollouts. The third beta now sits at version 3.0 across all three S26 models.
