Samsung has announced the Health Assistant, billed as the "first fully integrated AI-powered personal health assistant," now available in beta for eligible US users of Samsung Health. The tool combines health data from Samsung Health's "five pillars of wellness" — sleep, activity, nutrition, mindfulness, and vitals — transforming it into "meaningful, actionable insights, while explaining how each variable impacts the others."

The assistant identifies patterns users may miss and provides "high quality recommendations that have been validated by a team of physicians and certified health coaches." Future updates will explore coaching for behavior change and weight management, leveraging the Personal Data Engine for "highly personalized responses that are sensitive to a user's schedule and preferences."

Dr. Hon Pak, Senior Vice President and Head of Samsung's Digital Health team, stated the Health Assistant advances Samsung's vision for Connected Care by giving users deeper understanding of mind and body through daily monitoring and early detection opportunities, aiming to deliver holistic health understanding and drive real action for healthier habits.
