Samsung Health is set to launch a major redesign on June 8, transforming how Galaxy users monitor their wellness. The update introduces Vitals, which combines heart rate, heart rate variability, respiratory rate, skin temperature, and blood oxygen into a single dashboard. This replaces scattered biometric data with clear, actionable insights that help users understand what changes matter most.

The revamp adds Daily Cardio Load to monitor cardiovascular stress during workouts and suggest optimal training targets. Samsung's Heart Health Score analyzes sleep, stress, activity, and body composition to identify potential heart health risks. Meanwhile, the Fitness Index tracks heart rate, VO2 Max, and step count to personalize fitness goals based on individual strengths and weaknesses.

Two existing features receive significant upgrades: the Antioxidant Index now offers trend charts and daily history logs for nutritional tracking, while the AGEs Index captures overnight metrics to show how lifestyle choices affect metabolic health and biological aging. New Hearing Health monitoring uses Galaxy Watch, phone, and earbuds to alert users about excessive noise exposure.

Samsung confirmed these enhancements will debut on the upcoming Galaxy Watch 9, signaling a health-focused strategy for their next wearable release. The company emphasized simplification over data overload, aiming to make wellness tracking more accessible for everyday users rather than just fitness enthusiasts.
