Samsung's Galaxy A27 5G makes its debut as a subtle evolution of the Galaxy A26, bringing design refinements rather than revolutionary changes. The phone retains its predecessor's 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display running at 120Hz, but ditches the teardrop notch for a punch-hole cutout that Samsung brands as the Infinixy-O display. Slimmer bezels complete the visual refresh.

Under the hood, Samsung swaps out the Exynos 1380 for a Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 built on 4nm process technology. This chipset delivers roughly 10-20% better performance according to Samsung, promising snappier responsiveness throughout daily use. The battery remains unchanged at 5,000mAh with 25W charging support.

The camera setup stays familiar: a 50MP main shooter with optical image stabilization, 5MP ultrawide, and 2MP macro lens. A 12MP front-facing camera handles selfies through that new punch-hole cutout. However, durability takes a step backward with IP64 splash resistance versus the Galaxy A26's full IP67 rating.

Samsung commits to six major Android OS upgrades and six years of security patches, which beats most Android manufacturers. The Galaxy A27 launches July 3 in Europe at €350 starting price, with US availability following on July 14 at $350. Buyers can choose from Black, Blue, Light Green, and Light Pink finishes across 6/128GB, 8/128GB, and 8/256GB configurations.
